During my time with the Liverpool Echo, I successfully pitched and published stories across a range of sports, including women’s football, gymnastics, para-badminton and fencing.
I attended and reported on a Liverpool Women’s press conference at their training ground, Melwood, producing a news line for the sports desk.
My work focused on identifying and developing niche stories within under-reported sports, helping my content stand out within a busy newsroom.
