During my time with Blog Preston, I produced multimedia stories on the local community, including a piece later syndicated to the Lancashire Post as a front-page story with a double-page spread.
I quickly adapted to a new patch, uploading written content via WordPress with a focus on SEO and readability, and filming and editing video content including interviews and piece-to-cameras for social platforms. One video became one of Blog Preston’s most viewed posts on TikTok.
In January 2026, I returned for additional placement days, producing further coverage on local health warnings, and fundraising events.
